We’re not scientists, but we figure that ice caps, like ice cream, are best kept frozen. So, in 2005, we launched our Climate Change College to inspire and mentor young people who want to be part of the solution to climate change.
In partnership with WWF and polar explorer Marc Cornelissen, the college teaches our talented climate campaigners about the key issues, takes them to the Arctic to do their research and gives them training so that they can inspire others to make a difference.
In its first year, the college appointed 6 campaigners from the UK and the Netherlands and it’s been so popular that Ireland joined it in 2007. To see what our campaigners are up to, check out www.climatechangecollege.org
